The Club at the Hannah Arendt Room (Le Foyer)

The Hannah Arendt Room (formerly Le Foyer), made available by the AGL, provides a convenient, affordable and spacious place for the Louvain-la-Neuve Mahjong Club to get together.

The Club at the Alter d’en Face

The Louvain-la-Neuve Mahjong Club also previously got together at the Alter d’en Face in Louvain-la-Neuve. This community venue finally allowed us to set up enough tables to let everyone play as the Club grew bigger!

The Club at the Brasse-Temps

Formerly, the Louvain-la-Neuve Mahjong Club would gather in the private room at the Brasse-Temps in Louvain-la-Neuve. This small but cheerful venue can accomodate at most 5 tables. Since our club has grown quite a bit, the place is now somewhat cramped for our numbers, but we remain nonetheless very attached to this pleasant establishment, where we expose the trophies we won during international tournaments.

Mahjong initiation sessions

The Louvain-la-Neuve Mahjong Club occasionally performs initiation sessions for Mahjong during third party events.

Participation in tournaments

Several club members are registered with the EMA and regularly participate in international tournaments for Riichi. We are proud to have among our members some official EMA referees as well as several skilled players, some of which who have reached the podium!
